Mistake made on the budget homework

Instead of eliminating the budget deficit, cut it down to one third of its current level (lower it by 2/3).  Because of my mistake, the homework isn't due until Monday.

Practice EOC

This test is a strong example of what you will be taking tomorrow and on the EOC Milestone. If you are having trouble with any of the questions, I'm willing to review these right before the test tomorrow.

Also, there are several great video series to review with on youtube. This is my favorite:

Disappointment

For the first time since I began offering recovery tests, not a single student has taken one. This is highly disappointing. This was an opportunity for you to replace any test grade with a new one, however, since you have forgone this option, you only have a few chances to impact your grade further - this Friday's exam and the EOC Milestone. I encourage you to put your best effort into these.

Review Time

EOC Milestone exam is on Tuesday and Wednesday. Remember that it is both required for credit and worth 20% of your final grade. For quick review, I recommend reading the EOC study guide. Feel free to skip to the material section starting on page 13.

Mid-winter break

Enjoy your break - just a few reminders about the time ahead:

When you return, we will have a quiz on chapters 7 and 8 of the tipping point. You may use hand-written notes on the quiz if you like.

Also, all but the last two sections of the lifesim project are due upon your return. Remember to have in a binder with dividers and in the proper order.

We will have just over three weeks after we return until the end of Economics and the End of Course Test. If you wish to take a recovery exam over one of the unit exams we have taken so far, you must first do the following:

  1. Read the textbook chapters pertaining to that material
  2. Complete the questions at the end of each of those chapters
  3. Attend at minimum two open hours sessions and actively pursue answers to practice questions that you have found or written.
